Description

This was by
far
the highlight of a collection of road pamphlets that were unearthed from a family member that went on a vacation sometime in 1968.
The print is
stunning
in primary colors, and the paper is high quality with subtle texture + gloss. I'm just thankful this pamphlet is still in excellent condition, and I'd give it a 9 out of 10, with only very minor corner and edge blemishes. The pamphlet measures approximately 9" Tall x 4" Wide when closed.
Here's what this pamphlet says on the front:
Highway Association Texas US 281 | Continental 281 in Mexico
Inside the pamphlet, there are references to the following: Rio Grande Valley, Montemorelos, Majestic Ranch House, Padre Island National Seashore, Texas Ranger Museum, Mexico City, Mexican League Baseball Park, HemisFair '68, World Olympics Mexico City
The title of the interior of the pamphlet is:
Texas Highway Association Member International Highway 281 Association serving Canada, U.S., and Mexico
Finally, the printer is referenced at the bottom of the interior:
F. Whaley Post Cards - Corpus Christi - Lithographed in U.S.A.
Note that the first photo is a little yellow from my poor lighting - but I assure you the Texas Highway Sign on the top / front is white when you look at it in person. If you have additional questions, just ask, but I think that covers it. Thanks for looking!
