Extremely RARE Military Surplus STEPO Level A Totally Encapsulated Chemical Biological Protective Suit
STEPO stands for Self Contained Toxic Environment Protective Outfit and was intended as a OSHA level A compliant replacement for the older Toxicological Agent Protective (TAP) gear used by the military to protect from direct contact with chemical and biological agents.
STEPO suits and ITAP (Improved Toxicological Agent Protection) gear is by far the rarest of all chemical gear for collectors!

Suit is sized L/XL (fits a man up to and over 6' tall). As you can see from the pics that the suit is completely functional and airtight, you do need to wear a SCBA system underneath in order to breathe, there is no safe way to wear the suit in an airtight configuration without a SCBA.
What's Included
1. Complete STEPO suit in excellent condition, no damage or tears, rips, etc. zipper works just fine and suit holds air just fine. Suit is sized L/XL (fits a man up to and over 6' tall). Suit has attached gloves. Suit plastic visor and cover does show wear but wear does not obstruct view badly.
2. Toxicological Agent Protective Boots.
3. Interspiro SCBA with mask and bottle.
Note: Bottle is out of 15 year lifespan and has expired hydro. You will need a new bottle to use the included one is for collection purposes only.
4. Personal Ice Cooling System to be worn underneath the suit in order to cool the user down. This system circulates ice water over your upper body and is powered by standard D cell batteries and can be seen attached to the suit at the leg in the picture. You wear the cooling vest against your skin under the suit.
5. Large tan color Pelican case to store the STEPO suit safely protected from the elements.
6. Spare parts. Included are many spare parts for the set including spare gloves and zipper wax and a voice communications system for use in the suit.
Note on Shipping
1. I will likely have to ship the kit using 2-3 boxes (ground shipping UPS/FedEx only) and this will cost several hundred dollars. If you do not want the large tan Pelican case (#5 in the list above) please let me know and its likely I can lower the shipping price a bit.
