RARE Alcalde Arq. S.A. DURAN BALLEN Quito Key to City VIII-74 Jara Rios Joyeria

This is a rare, I can find no others, presentation key to the City of Quito Ecuador. It has the enameled Coat of Arms of Quito and the mayor "Alcalde Arq. S.A. Duran Ballen"  on the front. Architect Sixto Alfonso Duran-Ballen was Mayor of Quito 1970-1978 and later President of Ecuador 1992-96. It is engraved for presentation reverse "SN. FCO. DE QUITO" (San Francisco de Quito University?) and VIII-74 (August 1974). It appears to be brass, unpolished and untested. From the Miami Estate of Morgan Guaranty Banker John Porges and possibly presented to him. It is in its original box of Trophy & Medal Fabricator, Joyeria Jara Rios. The key is 2 3/4" long. The green leatherette box is 4 1/2" by 3".
