    Description

    NATURAL GOLD NUGGET more than 1 1/2 ounce. 48.4 grams....placer specimen with attractive proportion of quartz matrix.
    Very odd that this nugget was incased with sand/fine gravel when found (see 2nd photo), which left a grainy texture on surface. I have kept it wrapped up and separate from all other nuggets and hard surfaces for 15 years.....there is not a smooth polished area on it. I would hope that whoever eventually is caretaker, that they take care to keep it from becoming smooth/polished. This is a "very" unique find!
