    Gold Nugget 4.28 Grams 15.52mm x 8.84mm
    Estate collection of Natural gold nuggets. This is a very rare matrix specimen gold nugget that envelops the pure quartz protruding out from the inside. The gold is oozing out of the cracks in the quarts.  This type of nugget is usually displayed in museums and is said to be very rare.  This is a wonderful matrix specimen.  It weighs 4.28 grams and is 15.52mm long and 8.84mm wide. The origin of these nuggets came from Alaska and California.  Natural nuggets range in the 20kt to 23kt average purity range, 24kt being pure gold.  Nuggets are found in river beds and steams.  The photos show the front and back side of the nugget.
