HERE WE HAVE:
A heat safety hood! This piece came to us with foam over the face window with the model number 0647-AKV hand written on it .. so I'm basing my info on that marking! I believe this is a fire hood made by Chicago Protective Apparel. USA made tag on the back. Aluminized head and shoulder coverage. The window opening is approximately 7" x 11" and the current one is removable so it is is replaceable.
If you Google the model number mentioned, there are more specs and info available out there!
The hood is displayed on a stool in the photos, the stool is not included in the listing.
CONDITION:
Acceptable physical condition, but being sold as is, because I don't know if it's currently suitable for use as PPE.
There's a small gap between the bottom of the window screen and its housing.. I'm not sure if this is how it's made or if it has separated.
This piece looks like it's unused inside, very clean. There are some scuffs, color loss spots, and scratches to the exterior/window. A couple loose threads scattered about. There's a loose, black foam strip included. It was inside when we received the hood, although I don't know where it goes (or if it belongs with it at all!). Will come exactly as shown, so please see photos!
