Extended Response for Warm Zone CBRN Incidents
Blauer's XRT ensemble is certified to the NFPA 1994 standard for Class 3 protection against liquid, vapor and particulate CBRN agents at levels below IDLH. Made with GORE® CHEMPAK® Selectively-permeable fabric, the XRT suit is lightweight and highly breathable to provide comfort during extended response operations. The suit's one-piece design with integrated glove system and booties eliminates the need for chemical tape and allows first responders and down-range personnel to quickly self-don the suit with approved APR/PAPR systems.

DEPLOY FASTER, STAY ENGAGED LONGER
You need to be able to respond quickly in the event of a CBRN or potentially hazardous chemical threat and remain engaged in the mission as long as possible without risking your safety. Wearing Extended Response Team (XRT) suits made with GORE® CHEMPAK® selectively permeable fabric, you can respond faster because the suits are quick-donning and do not require any additional taping. In addition, the fabric's breathable construction allows you to remain on duty for up to eight hours, and its durability gives added confidence about CBRN protection. During a recently documented wear trial, the suit stayed intact after being subjected to various rigorous physical activities for eight hours.
Typical Applications
Certified as a fabric component to NFPA 1994 Class 3, GORE® CHEMPAK® selectively permeable fabric is liquid-proof, air-impermeable, and breathable. This long-lasting, breathable fabric is ideal for operations in the warm zone that potentially contain TICs and CWAs below levels not immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) – operations such as:

Decon line operations
Receiving ambulatory victims of a terrorist attack
Safe escape from contaminated environment
Enhanced comfort from breathable, lightweight fabric

Faster Response
No chemical tape is needed in this form-fitting design. A zipper and sealed interfaces allow you to don the garment quickly and easily.
Stronger fabric and seams
GORE® CHEMPAK® selectively permeable fabric is a 3-layer construction of a unique, intrinsically stable, non-carbon-based laminate that provides high durability. During a recently documented wear trial, the suit stayed intact after being subjected to various rigorous physical activities for eight hours.
Excellent Mobility
The integrated bootie system has allowed this suit to be certified with breathable leather boots, providing superior mobility during tactical and mass-incident responses.
GORE® CHEMPAK® Selectively Permeable Fabric
Liquid-proof and air-impermeable, this barrier fabric allows perspiration vapor to escape freely out of the fabric to reduce heat stress while providing limited protection against toxic industry chemicals (TICs) and chemical warfare agents (CWAs).
