No. 3961 White Point Texas Jan 22, 1916, Burning Gas Well Guffey No. 2, A Raging Volcano . . . . Swafford Photo, Copyright
WHITE POINT, TX. White Point was a rural community in central Concho County, eight miles south of Paint Rock and three miles west of U.S. Highway 83 at a site on present Farm Road 765. It had a school at least as early as 1920, when the Longview and Oklahoma school districts joined to form the White Point Consolidated School District. In 1936 the settlement had a school, one church, and several scattered buildings. In 1940 the school, which encompassed grades one through ten, had four teachers and an average daily attendance of forty-five students. By 1955 the school had been consolidated with the Paint Rock school district. By 1963 the community had disappeared.

REAL PHOTO
card on ebay
(Starting 18 March 2020 - though I'm social distancing myself and have absolutely no symptoms - I will rub [until dry] a fresh dollop of hand sanitizer into my hands immediately before picking your items from my shelves and packing them - and again when I mail them).
postally unused (but I only have ONE of these) with a few very minor, small translucent spots on photo side of card; NEAR FINE
. . . . . . . . .
Remember that the
Abraham Lincoln Penny
is not attached to the item. It is put on the scanner bed merely to protect the uniqueness or near uniqueness of an image so that the high bidder gets an item that has not been copied via someone's computer. The penny DOES NOT hide any faults or any damage!

WE REGRET WE DON'T SHIP OUT OF USA; SORRY, BUT
NO EXCEPTIONS.
FREE SHIPPING via stiff plastic postcard holder and/or cardboard + plastic sleeve protected 1st class mail, STANDARD RATE.
Regardless of what ebay may say on their "Shipping Page" - while STANDARD MAIL is perfectly safe for smaller & less expensive items - it is NOT the same grade of service as a "First Class Mail Parcel." Buyer MAY opt in (at a small-ish extra charge) for upgraded 1st class mail package rate (with TRACKING #) at checkout if they choose to do so.
I ship AT LEAST twice a week (and OCCASIONALLY 3 times per week) so turnover time or handling time is 3
business
days (Mon-Fri)
max
- often less than that.
Please pay within 4 days. Delayed? Then email me - I'll try to work with you when necessary but it helps a lot when I have contact with you. If your payment is delayed, ebay is liable to send a dun or two. PLEASE NOTE THAT THOSE ARE COMING AUTOMATICALLY FROM EBAY AND
NOT
FROM ME. I typically send out just one reminder.
PAYPAL IS THE MUCH PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT.
PLACING A BID IS THE ETHICAL EQUIVALENT OF ACCEPTING THESE TERMS. PLEASE DON'T ASK TO ALTER THEM AFTERWARDS.
In return, as our feedback clearly shows, we'll get your item(s) to you, as described, in a safe, timely manner. Thanks!
